Re:Vision’s 4th Annual Buen Provecho Celebrates 17 Years of Community
Re:Vision’s 4th Annual Buen Provecho was held this past weekend, celebrating Latinx community, culture, and cuisine in Southwest Denver.
This year’s event honored 17 years of cultivating community and nourishing their neighborhood through a lively, mercado-style gathering. Attendees enjoyed vibrant entertainment and dishes crafted by La Reyna, Dos Caras, and Convivio Cafe, crafted with produce harvested from Re:Vision’s own urban farms.

Executive Director Mariana del Hierro shares words of gratification for the community and its supporters.
For nearly two decades, Re:Vision has served as a cornerstone of Southwest Denver, working to build a thriving, resilient community through urban agriculture, economic opportunity, and grassroots leadership. This year’s Buen Provecho reflected that mission, highlighting the organization’s impact and honoring the powerful work of its local Latina leaders.
In Latinx cultures, “Buen Provecho” is more than a simple phrase — it’s a warm expression of joy and gratitude for the act of sharing a meal. Derived from the Spanish word aprovechar, meaning “to make the most of it,” the phrase perfectly captured the spirit of the evening, as the community came together to celebrate food, culture, and connection.
